AKMuans at Alpha Gamma Chapter (Lincoln University) invite you to join us for the 61st National Convention in Jefferson City, Missouri, April 6-9, 2011.

The Capitol Plaza Hotel and Convention Center located at 415 W. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, is the Convention Hotel.  Several events will take place on the beautiful campus of Lincoln University.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: For hotel reservations at The Capitol Plaza Hotel and Convention Center, please call 1 800 338-8088 or 573 635-1234.  Make sure you reserve under the name, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society.  Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or with an advance deposit for the first night’s stay, prior to arrival.  Changes or cancellations of reservations must be made by 3:00 p.m. the day prior to arrival to avoid charges to credit card of one’s night room and tax or forfeiture of advanced deposit.

ROOM AND RATES: The following special rates will be in effect based upon advance reservations. 

Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes at time of check in.  Taxes are currently 7.725% Sales Tax and 3% Lodging Tax per night.  The room block under the name Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society will be held until March 6, 2011, 12:00 Midnight.  After March 6, 2011, the Hotel will release the unreserved rooms for general sale and reservations will be taken upon space availability and at the regular hotel rate.

Registration Fees:  The chapter registration fee is $5.  The Convention Registration fee is $35 per person.  Please complete the attached registration form and return with check, money order, etc. by March 1, 2011 to Dr. Ann Harris.
